Rinaldo Censi (Ph.D in Film Studies, University of Bologna) is a writer, translator and film programmer. He writes regularly for the Italian newspaper Il manifesto and for a number of magazines and journals (Alfabeta2, Cineforum, Filmcritica, Doppiozero). He wrote a book on Italian silent Diva-films (Formule di Pathos, 2008) and one on Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi (2013). He curated several film programs on filmmakers as diverse as Charley Bowers, Philippe Garrel, Peter Tscherkassky, Karl Kels.
